Ashok Kumar Sahu and Gyana Ranjan Parida today became the new president and secretary of Odisha Basketball Association for a four-year term from 2015 to 2019. Sahu, who was the secretary, replaced former minister and Odisha state BJP president Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo as president. Parida, an employee of State Sports & Youth Services Department succeeded Sahu as secretary.
All the office-bearers were elected unopposed at the Annual General Meeting of the association held at the office of Odisha Olympic Association, Barabati Stadium, Cuttack today. Elections were conducted by Odisha Olympic Association joint-secretary Rabindra Kumar Parida as election officer.
